19.03.2006 - 13:08hBack From DubaiI have just got back from Dubai & it was amazing, I did a lot of press interviews which has really boosted the site!
We have a lot of BIG advertisers now and taking this to the next level!
I have also now made all 3 areas, gold, silver & bronze unlimited, meaning you can buy as much space as you need! The bigger the advert, the more traffic you will get back... and remember, the higher up your advert, the more traffic you will get back!
Remember, once this is sold out, I will still spend a lot of advertisers money actually marketing the website, so all advertisers will always benefit! The traffic will never start to die down!

But im back on the case and will blog soon, im going away today to do overseas promotion for both websites in Dubai & will be back from the 14th of March onwards...

27.01.2006 - 17:05hPhase TwoWhy would a visitor keep coming back to a site just to see adverts? i have said time and time again, im not in this for a get rich quick scheme, i want to give a good return to our advertisers, some of which are long term friends, i also want my own pixels to be effective for me... so i have now taken this pixel phenomenon one step further!
What if i told you that all pixels purchased from our site are now exposed to over 20 million hits a month? what would you say...? as far as i know, we are the first pixel site in history to do this...! I have not seen it on any other pixel website and developed the idea and codes myself!
As you know, i own many massive sites, i have now developed a feed that displays all the pixels on other sites aswell as this site... meaning that visitors don't just have to come to this site to see the pixels, they can go on any of the sites that contain the feed and see them!
I have just launched it on majorfm.com

I'm now adding it across the network which will total over 20 million hits a month!!! I intend on adding it across other supporting sites as well which will soon make this one of the most seen pixel websites in the world!

27.01.2006 - 11:33hIncreased Max Sizes...I have increased the max sizes allowed for both Silver & Bronze... the silver max is now 32 blocks & bronze is 16 blocks, the main reason for the increase is to allow people to add bigger logo's in those areas.

25.01.2006 - 16:36hHad a few e-mails...Just to clear up my post yesterday, im not saying i was the first to start a pixel website, we all know that isn't true, im saying we were one of the first to start the gold, silver & bronze method!
...also there are many pixel sites out there that are doing well, i do support individuality, its all the same concept, but i support people that are coming up with their own marketing, own ideas, etc... i was a little mad as i found a pixel site that is more or less cloning this website, the text, the blog, the whole lot... claiming it was theirs... which is why i was a little peeed of!
Well that's cleared that one up... moving swiftly on...
Did 2 more interviews today with papers, they come out next week, i will post them up very soon!
25.01.2006 - 01:26hThings Have Been MadThings have blown up for OneBillionPageViews.com and i have been covering the press for that for the last week or so, i hit all the papers this week and next week, i will be in London's Metro, Informer, Leader, Chronicle and some national papers i wont mention yet!
I will be promoting this site along side the other one so they both move side by side, that will soon make this the highest traffic pixel site on the web!
...there are already some ripp off's of thepixelwebsite.com out there, some people are even copying our bronze, silver & gold idea etc... copy and pasting text from our site, our press idea's and more... doesn't bother me! as long as everyone knows we were one of the first to give all businesses a chance to advertise using the bronze, silver & gold method! The broze grid is at 1p per pixel, the silver at 10p per pixel & the gold at £1 per pixel!
Please be aware for your own sakes of cheap imitations, there are pixel sites out there with hardly any traffic! Its important to get a good return on investment! We give you that... its not about just selling all the space and giving nothing in return, we concentrate on building traffic, the brand and loyalty among our users, then the advertisers will simply follow... its our philosophy and seems to work!

22.01.2006 - 17:02hStatsWe now have just under 600,000 hits! I'm just waiting for some national press articles to be sent to me so i can add them to the press section!
Pixels are constantly selling... we havn't even really pushed the selling side of it really, just a few e-mails here and there... been concentrating more on press and exposure! I would rather advertisers get value for money then push selling adverts and not focus on getting traffic, exposure and press to the site!

17.01.2006 - 20:50hBusy As Hell!Man i haven't even had time to post on the blog, you can see by the site, we are nearly at 20,000 pixels sold, yesterday was our busiest day to date! we had 53581 hits yesterday alone! We are now totaling 354177 so far, its been about 10 days since the site has been online! Our daily hits now average 27244!
Keep spreading the word people... this is the next big one without a shadow of doubt!
14.01.2006 - 06:22hIts 6am again...Just woke up to check the stats! Im pleased to say we hit over 200,000 hits in the first 7 days of this site being online! from zero to that in just 7 days is incredible...!
...also i have made the decision to invest a good amount of the revenue that comes in from the site into on going marketing for the site... probably about a 100 grand, this will keep the site active over the 10 year period and not fizzle away... thats about 10 grand a year, thats a fair amount for marketing & advertising for a already established site!
Just a added bonus for our advertisers re-assuring them im not about to make a million and do my own thing! I'm in your shoes right now as we speak, i know what its like to struggle and maintain a small business, im not here to rip you off!
Anyway, im gonna catch sum sleep!

Today has been the most shocking! I have spent the last hour replying to messages etc... the site is at its busiest so far...
Total Hits: 172300
Its now our first week! Officially been 7 days since the launch! 9000 pixels sold and close to 200,000 hits, we might even hit 200,000 plus by the end of today! Show me a site that goes from zero to 200,000 in the first week!
Thank you to all those supporting us! without you, we would be nothing, thank you to all those journalists aswell showing so much interest...
Anyway... its about 3am and im half dead again!

I spoke to a major newspaper today called New Nation, they did a interview and it should be in next weeks newspaper! Thats our first major press publication! I will be scanning all press cuttings and including them in the press section!

09.01.2006 - 00:49hJust checked the traffic..I just checked the traffic and it now stands at over 50,000 hits on its first 4 days... thats an average of 10108 per day so far... which if it simply continues at the current rate... we should have over 300,000 hits in the first month of the site being online!
Now i have no doubt in my mind that this site will be getting HUGE traffic...
Its time to start working on the press...

Its only been 3 days...
I have got a very good feeling about this site... things are on the up!
I have also added a traffic chart to the site thats updated every 24 hours to show you a accurate reading of the traffic going through this site!
07.01.2006 - 19:40hAnother day passes...We have submitted our site to all major search engines today, infact over 1000 across the world... its a matter of days before the site starts showing up! I got a massive headache so im gonna keep this short... Amazon.com also now have a prime spot on the grid!

07.01.2006 - 04:46hOk...Its like 4am again... i have just announced the launch to my personal friends, people i work with and site visitors, that amounts to about 40,000 people on my e-mail list!
I thought i would tell them first!
That should get this kicked off the ground!

I also checked the site stats just now... 'Total Hits 3583' not bad at all considering its only the first day or 2...

06.01.2006 - 19:02hHere we go...Today is officially our launch day, i was browsing the net at like 3am in the morning... i spotted a article on a forum about the million dollar home page and what Alex Tew has done! reading it again and again, i thought after the success of million dollar home page, i just had to do this! I thought of a name, built the site by 6.30am...
Ever since the age of 17, i have come up with many ideas on how to make the net work for me... i proved it many times and after the success of MajorFm.com winning so many awards and being the number one Urban website i checked my wallet and noticed its still not where it should be!! Im now 26, getting on a bit and my goals were getting further and further away... i had to do something and do something now!
ThePixelWebsite.com is now born!
There will soon be huge amounts of traffic flowing to this site! It's going to be advertised everywhere... and linked on some huge sites! I get close to 20 million hits a month on just 2 of my sites and 100s of millions of hits across all of them... i will slowly drive alot of traffic to this site! Mark my words... this will be the 2nd biggest after Alex's site...
My pixel Website has 3 million pixels... they are split up on 3 areas... top, middle and bottom, a first as far as i know among pixel sites allowing all types of people to be part of it... not just the big companies!
The top is £1 per pixel, the middle is 10p per pixel and the bottom is 1p per pixel...
So now is your chance to grab pixels while you can... I can guarantee that soon enough... there will be running out, especially the penny pixels! The bottom is likely to get sold out quick, you have been warned early... grab space while you can!
So here we go... lets get this on the road!
